Camouflage Netting

Specialised Camouflage systems can be designed and manufactured to any customer specification. This can be based on the terrain’s natural concealment properties, as well as type, size or targets; for example woodland to desert to snow camouflage.

Effective camouflage netting is an aid to eliminate shape, shine, shadow and silhouette, not only against aerial observation and human vision but also against Near Infrared, Image Intensifiers and Thermal Imagers.

Nets can be made for personnel use in the field, for example simple nets for individual use, to sophisticated systems for command posts, cargo trucks, and artillery ranges.

Standard Issue camouflage materials are designed to exhibit an artificial chlorophyll response at selected NIR wavelengths giving added benefit over non standard materials (e.g. tarpaulins) which will only provide cover against visual threat sensors and not against NIR or hyperspectral threat sensors.

  • Conceals shape and dimensions of subjects as well as their shades.

  • Durable and resistant to the atmosphere’s effects.

  • Manufactured to exhibit the natural characteristics of the surrounding environment.

  • For full woodland surroundings to Arctic conditions.

  • Nets can be linked to provide greater surface coverage for large items, base camps.

Mosquito Nets

Manufactured from a range of materials our nets are hand made using traditional methods of sewing skills to provide a high standard of finished article, guaranteed to ensure a long lasting and durable product for defence operations.

NBC Protection

JTI Defence can design, manufacture, supply and support a wide range of Nuclear Biological and Chemical Defence (NBC) equipment. Shelters are available for command posts, field hospitals and rest and relief facilities. The treat of potential chemical and biological attack has increased through recent years, and subsequently, many organisations are using NBC equipment in a wide range of areas, including defence and emergency services, to combat natural and man-made disasters. Shelter units can be self contained and free standing for use in existing buildings or shelters.
